Teak Trees
Teak is currently in growing demand, however there is a diminishing supply. The solution to this is sustainable forestry and timber logging. Brazil makes a great place to do this with 365 days a year of direct equatorial sunlight, lots of rain and it’s proximity to some of the worlds major Teak markets. Large Land Deals is offering investors the opportunity to participate in an ethical, green, sustainable and profitable business. By planting hardwood Teak trees on deforested land in the tropical Brazilian rainforest. The plantations are harvested over 25 years providing income from timber sales.
Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus was introduced to Brazil in 1910, for timber substitution and the charcoal industry. It has thrived in the local environment, and today there are around 5 million hectares planted. The wood is highly appreciated by the charcoal and pulp and paper industries. When well managed, the plantations are sustainable and the soil can sustain endless replanting. Eucalyptus plantations are also used as wind breaks. Due to the continual development and governmental funding, year-on-year growth is consistently being improved.

Conservation/Reforestation
The Amazon Rainforest has been described as the "Lungs of our Planet" because it provides the essential environmental world service of continuously recycling carbon dioxide into oxygen. More than 20 percent of the world oxygen is produced in the Amazon Rainforest.
One hectare (2.47 acres) may contain over 750 types of trees and 1500 species of higher plants.
RainForest/Carbon Creditis
Carbon credits are like certificates that represent a reduction of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Projects that prevent the generation of greenhouse gases or remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere earn these credits, which can in turn then be "sold" to other businesses and individuals to "offset" the emissions they generate. One carbon credit is the equivalent to a saving of one tonne of carbon dioxide (CO2).
